About us

British Bangladeshi Alliance was founded on 1st March 2013 in London (UK).

  • BBA’s Aim: To bring together individuals and organisations with an invested interest in Bangladesh to make a meaningful contribution to its future. The Alliance has formed with the premise of engaging 2nd and 3rd generation British Bangladeshis with Bangladesh’s history, heritage, culture and its current developments.

  • Vision: Promoting a tolerant, democratic and progressive Bangladesh.

  • Activities: BBA organises seminars, debates and conferences. It actively promotes and supports critical research and development of new policies to address the long-standing economic, social, environmental and political challenges in Bangladesh.

  • BBA also seeks to facilitates constructive dialogue between individuals and organisations from different backgrounds.
